The term that's normally used to describe how you use the actions you have available is "action economy". "Bandwidth" gets the point across, but is a bit of a weird term to use.

I find Raisins' runs for these things to be really entertaining because it feels like he always tries to go for strats and off-the-cuff decisions which are more optimal in a time sense but riskier and require non-garbage RNG to pull through. Because more often than not, he tends to have garbage RNG during crucial moments, which leads to some very unfortunate scenarios. What a depressingly slow team, that Florina's speed was abominable.

Playing marcus is like playing on ez mode, if you don’t wanna think while playing sure, but I play FE to strategize and build units I like. To each their own tho sometimes I wanna unwind and I get using the “easy” choice.

Best dancer not dancing? That'd be Reyson with a magic card in Radiant Dawn. ( I mean, in actuality, probably not, but he does quite a bit of damage, and it's otherwise hard to get him high enough leveled to learn the most useful alternate galdrar.)

Petra if you don't grind is the best dodge tank dancer by far, but a grinded azura is definitely an honorable mention

Not gonna lie: I was hoping Mekkah would get Eliwood as well so MAYBE he'd be able to get Geitz.

My favourite dancer to use for non-dancer things is probably Lara. She's just so good at being capture bait for the enemies in Thracia, they cannot resist her.

*Chronicles of the switch playalong* Remember when I said that derailing chapter 24 was going to have some consequences that caused a scare later on? This is the chapter where it reveal itself! At 39:47 I noticed my Merlinus had 1 more hp but 1 less res, meaning he ended that enemy phase with 4 hp! Merlinus' levelups are given at the end of the chapter he was deployed in instead of at the start of the next one, and on chapter 24 he gained +2 hp but no def/res, where as altissimo got 1 hp, 1 def and 1 res. Another thing that happened in this chapter was Hector's movement at 23:13 which I forgot to do, and his changed position forced wyvern he stood next to to take a very slightly different path... resulting in the rng being completely messed up until I fixed that mistake. I really can't stress how much of a toll it was to play along since again each chapter except Lyn mode took about twice as long as the vid itself... and I had to pay attention for 2 hours... not fun when those mistakes manifested.

Kishuna is my favorite dancer who doesnt dance. Amazing hp, evasión and somehow he tank all magic damage every run

I like using Lara in Thracia. Actually, I use all of the Magi squad except for Brighton. Machuya, Lara, Asbel, and Ced. Lara is... bad, yes, but as Dancer she still can use lockpicks. Not like she can actually steal much as Thief Fighter though haha Machuya still isn't in Heroes. I've been waiting forever...

I was playing a challenge trying to beat HHM with only no horse axe unit (Hector, Dorcas, Bartre, Dart, Hawkeye, Wallace and Harken) and my Matthew died at ch12 and with Legault no recruited, i get locked in this chapter. In need to do everything again and save a door key or 2

I just finished FE3 so this has inspired me to finally do an Iron Man (FE9 as it's the one I know best) so far so ok except Marcia managed to die on the first turn as a green unit before I could even recruit her...

Sacred Power is really helpful moving into a new game+ maddening run. Being able to stand in the middle of your off-turn vanguard and help them tank and kill is great. Worth leveling up enlightened one in your first run so you can equip sacred power in the second.

I loved the gameplay, but the writing here was rough.

I'm just starting out my Fire Emblem journey (beat FE7 a few weeks ago and am currently working on FE6) and I find it funny learning that units I immediately latched onto are considered weak by the rest of the community. Oswin was my bro in FE7, I briefly dropped him early, but brought him back after Merlinus got surprise attacked on a map and I kept in my party through the end fight (he was instrumental in killing Ursula by face tanking her bolting spells). In FE6, my immediate reaction to Shanna was "Oh shit, it's a Pegasus knight that doesn't die at the slightest attack like Florina, she's gonna be one of my main troops." So I heavily invested in her and don't regret it. Trying to babysit Thea/Tate now is a pain though, but ever since I read about triangle attack it was the number one thing I wanted to do.

I do feels like these Hidden Truth and Heirs of Fate chapters plays like BSFE (FE:Archanea Saga) which were remade in FE 12 in the Archanea Chronicles and also the DLC in FE 12 too! I wonder when will you play it tho?

Nice around 50h of my time wasted to reach a softlock~ I love the part where they put the two squishiest units next to each other instead of giving me one that can survive a blow just to make it some harder (the Mercedes and Anette spawn). I also love the part where they give ma a battalion for dimitri that is worse than the battalion I gave him pre-timeskip. I also love the part where Dedue just doesn't show up because "yolo"

Interestingly enough, this DLC pretty much shows the kids’ canon hair colour. Most of them correspond with the father Like both Kana’s and the royal sons. But very few of them don’t match, like Soleil, Mitama, maybe Selkie, Asugi and Rhajat. The last two due to being Awakening clones

Oh boy, it's the child killing dlc. I've never actually beaten the whole thing, I beat the 5th episode but never played the 6th. So hey, it'll be a new(ish) experience re-experiencing these dlc maps! I do remember that the 4th episode was a slog with so many reinforcements it makes Clash blush.

I think this is one of the better Fire Emblem DLCs... Generally, I wish they'd return to how they did DLC in Awakening and Fates, small little additions that give you cool rewards like Lucinas/Robins/Ikes Classes, etc. It'd be so much cooler to have the ability to give your Engage Characters the classes of the Bond Ring lords for example. It felt more like a bonus than anything else. And you had the choice to pay for what you want rather than pay 25€ at once.

To explain staff targeting a little more precisely to explain what’s going on Enemies with staves target whatever unit is in range of the most enemies (the count is slightly naive and doesn’t consider units body blocking each other) and then tiebreaks by checking hit rate which is a function of both Res and Luck, and then tiebreaks that by just firing randomly. The confusing part in this map is that Hisame and Kiragi both have personal skills which slightly alter staff avoid, and more relevant, you were fighting on pillars which also give avoid which was making the calculations for who had lower staff avoid slightly more complex.

FYI -> Heirs of Fate keeps track of promotions, and grants high-level weapons depending on the promotion paths chosen.

I legit didn’t know the kids existed besides Kana until I played this DLC. I only found out you could get these characters in-game after looking up them up because I couldn’t believe they made this many new characters just for a DLC campaign. Edit: 9:59 I also never noticed that naming error before.
